My name is Maycen Raycroft, and I am a videographer based in Northwest Indiana. When I graduated from college in May 2020, I struggled to find an available job aligned with my passions. I found myself revisiting the memories and nostalgia of the first wedding I filmed in December 2019, and soon realized that wedding videography was my calling--bringing people’s stories to life. So here I am! 4 years later, with 200 clients served and counting, Raycroft Recordings provides award-winning professional video coverage to capture your memories that will last a lifetime.
One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know the couples I work with! I want to learn about your unique love story. I love working with down-to-earth couples ready to wear their heart on their sleeve. I am willing to travel wherever your story may take me!
I am here to support you every step of your wedding journey. During the wedding planning process, we will DM, have in-person/virtual consultations, and maintain strong communication.
I never want you to feel like I am a stranger at your wedding. I want to make you feel comfortable in front of my lens so I can capture the true you!

I’m a very detail-oriented person, who understands how much time, thought, and energy goes into your wedding day. Whether it’s an intricate tablescape or a time-specific itinerary [to catch just the right natural light], I spend the time to get a full understanding of not only my couples but the details that my couples plan for their wedding. Having an understanding of the ins and outs of your wedding/elopement helps me to capture those “in-between” moments that you may miss the day of.
